Hannah Zhipan

Age 16, Sophomore. From Xinyu, Jiangxi. Loves technology and is our family's IT expert. Very aristic, an excellent writer and a great photographer. Very musical and has a beautiful singing voice. Works on the high school stage and technical crew, and is a member of the concert choir and Bella Voce women’s choir. Relates really well with kids with special needs. Looking forward to studying to become a graphic designer.

Rachel Zhiheng

Age 13, 8th grade. From Chenzhou, Hunan. Loves elephants, pandas, and the color yellow. Swims like a fish. Great artist and comedian. Plays trumpet in concert band and jazz band. Volunteers at the library and food pantry in our town. Loves to read, play video games and watch anime. Enjoys old time radio and big band music. Would like to someday work with animals.

Abigail Lihuan

Age 11, 6th grade. From Yangxi, Guangdong. Our sweet nurturer who’s always ready to lend a helping hand. A great conversationalist. Great with kids and the elderly. Loves arts and crafts. Plays violin and piano and is in youth orchestra. Very organized and a good leader. Runs this house better than I do when I’m not here! Not sure what she wants to be someday (but we think she’d make an excellent teacher).

David Heshi

Age 8, 2nd grade. From Datong, Shanxi. Lives life big! Loves monkeys and the color blue. Exceptional math skills. Huge fan of Pokémon. Loves to run and swim. Enjoys video games and Cartoon Network. Favorite foods are tacos and tomatoes. Never far from his faithful sidekick, a huge stuffed monkey named Banoonoos. Says when he grows up, he wants to be a Dad.
