Chinese Children's Music

Several years ago, I found this site with 27 Chinese children's songs that you could download. Al made a CD of them, and the girls have enjoyed them so much! Some of the titles crack me up: "Communist Young Pioneers", "Heroic Little Sisters", and "I Love Beijing TianAnMen". A few of our favorites are "Little Swallow", "Jasmine", "Mama Is the Best", and "Mud Doll". The arrangements can sound pretty cheezy, but our family just loves listening to the very "typical" sound of the contemporary Chinese recordings! Enjoy!

Hey Becky, thanks for the info on the free music. I'll have to check it out! We're on to Christmas music for now, but Chinese music always has a place in our hearts. Can't wait to hear the Communist song!

Happy Decmeber! Advent has started and we are now getting ready for Christmas. I have a start on things but I need each day ahead to finish all the little things I still need to do. Thanks for the great turkey recipe we have a lot left over. It sounds yummy! I love your new Christmas blog look too. Kiss the cousins for us and let's plan a big cousin party next summer with all the kids. My prayer is that Tai is still with us and Sarah will be on her way home.
