Last night, we had dinner at Stir Crazy with our new travel group! Greg and Judy brought their 5-year-old daughter; their new son is in the same province as David (Shanxi - with one "a"). Dan and Jamie brought their 5-year-old daughter, as well; their new daughter is in Shaanxi province (that's with two a's). They are waiting on TA and are hoping to have it in time to travel with us.
Our noisy little group must have been quite a sight! Three sets of parents, discussing everything from "family tree" school projects to which sippees we're bringing for our children to the best places to shop for jade in Guangzhou. Five little girls who kept taking trips up to the stir fry bar to watch the chefs cook the food. It made for a delightful evening with new friends! You could just feel the excitement at our table!

I am so glad that you have a travel group. It is such a good way to stay connected and keep your children connected to their birth country.
I loved your organizing post. Great ideas!! Socks, oh what a nightmare they can be. What a great idea. I have GOT to get my kids onto some kind of routine like this. They put their own away, but don't fold their own. You are so lucky they take good care of their drawers. My girls do ok, but my standards are so high!!!
Isn't nesting the best!!!
I am so thankful that you have a travel group and how nice that there is going to be another little boy too!! I can just see the photos that your will take in China now. Two sweet boys with a precious little girl right in the middle:) How nice to have the support of one another and be able to build memories together for your children as couples.
