I'm so exhausted I can hardly see, but I wanted to post some pictures of our first moments with David.

It appears that Al will be able to travel to Datong alone tomorrow. As much as I would love to visit David's city and possibly see the welfare institute and his finding site, I just think it's best for him to not make that very long trip, only to see his caregivers again and have to start the process all over again.

It's after 10:00, but he's still completely alert, playing with his toys on the bed and watching every. move. we. make.

Hoping to have a picture of him smiling tomorrow!

Awwww....sweet baby. My heart goes out to him (and you as well) Thanks for putting the pictures up so quickly. You must have known how we've all been waiting.

Oh, the tears are flowing!! He is so precious!!! I am sure you are exhausted, emotionally and physically. I hope you are all able to get some sleep!!!

I am so glad that Al will be able to travel. I know how the experience would be great for you, but I think you are right about what is best for David. Plus, it will give you and David lots of one on one bonding time.
I can't wait to see his smile!!!

Becky,
We just finished praying for you, thinking David was probably sleeping and you and Al winding down for the day....I guess not. We are so overjoyed that you are together. We will continue praying! I love the pictures...what a cutie! I hope you enjoy hanging out with him while Al travels. Some one-on-one time may be nice. Sending you hugs and encouragement.

I am so happy to see those pics even if he is crying. Glad that Al will be able to go alone so he doesn't have to repeat the grieving again as well. Praying for you guys!

Becks and Al -
These photos bring your whole experience to life. I feel like I'm there with y'all. We are so very excited that your LONG wait is over. Annalee screeched with joy when I told her you had David. Can you hear it there in China?
All our love...

The photos are great! We were just in Taiyuan last Dec. to bring home our Abbie. Just think we live in Sugar Grove too and our children are from the same area. We are praying for you and love reading your posts.
