We had to do the McDonald's thing, I guess. The food was identical to home, but of course, I had to drink my Coke with no ice. And they don't have apple pies - their pies are filled with some sort of sweet bean filling.
Out the back door of McDonald's was a lovely shopping mall, reminiscent of a typical American mall. The shops features western-style clothing and high prices. I noticed nearly all the models in the photos shown in the shops were Caucasian - interesting.
