Now We Are Six!

David is finally with us.

It was probably the hardest hour I've ever experienced. He fought us, cried, yelled, hit me, and then finally just shut down. I know it's all normal and he'll be fine, but it was hard to see him so upset.

He is now sitting on the bed with Al, playing with some new toys and nibbling on saltines. He's very quiet, and is looking around at things from time to time.

Tomorrow we must travel to Datong to obtain his passport. It's a five hour drive each way. I'm weary thinking about it.

The internet is crazy-slow right now - I'll post pictures as soon as I have more time.

But I am so in love with this sweet, feisty little boy! I can't wait for us to all get to know each other!

We have been praying non stop and we will keep it up. This sounds just like Misha's first moments with us. Keep praying over him and loving him. It takes time but there will be a moment when it all clicks:)

We are so happy for you!!!!

Catching up again. So enjoying each of your posts. Feel like I am getting to know a bit more about the birth country of your children through your eyes!!

Praying for your boy as he mourns and gets to know his new family. May God be with you during this wonderful miracle. Congratulations to you all.

Your girls will be so excited to get their hands on him. Ten days and counting!!!!

Can't wait to see pictures

Oh Becky

I am so glad you finally have that boy in your arms. I will pray that he feels comfort in yours and Al's arms. Poor guy has been through a lot. Can't wait to see picss and hear more and more about his personality! (((HUG)))

We continue to pray for all of you as David makes this difficult transition. I remember it took the orphanage staff 20 minutes to get Mia out of the car on the day we got her. She was also a sweet but fiesty one! Still is.

I'm praying that ALL of you don't have to make that trip today. Sounds like crazy planning on someones part. The good part is that you will be able to see the town where David came from. I pray that that would be a blessing to you, and to David in the future when he's able to see pictures from his hometown.

When/if you can, give that little fiesty one a kiss from me. (No, not Al)
